Temps in the 50’s and 60’s across the region.

Winds are gusting all over central MT and norther WY.

High Wind Warning remains in effect until 7pm for Judith Gap, Big Timber, Melville, and Harlowton. Winds gusting up to 60 mph. Expect dangerous cross winds on Highway 191 from Big Timber to Harlowton and Judith Gap. Strong wind gusts could blow around unsecured objects.

Lake Wind Advisory at Fort Peck Lake from now till 9pm. Winds gusting up to 50 mph. Rough waves on the lake, small crafts be advised.

In Northern WY, especially around Yellowstone NP and Cody, Much cooler than yesterday. Look for snow in higher elevations, 1-3 inches possible.

Note: The Beartooth Pass is now officially closed for the season. Reopens in May.

Be careful on the roads, especially around the mountains. Also, please be careful out in the back country with changing conditions and snow.

Tonight:

Breezy. Temps into the low 40’s and high 30’s for much of the region. Late tonight, we may see scattered showers in the low-lying areas and a few snow showers in the higher elevations.

Tomorrow (Monday):

Chance of showers remains through the day in the low-lying areas and a chance of snow in the higher elevations. Windy again, so much so that we may see a Wind Advisory issued in the morning. Temps into the 60’s for most of us.

Tuesday– Sunday:

Cooler week ahead, with more chances for precipitation, at least till Thursday. Rain in the low-lying areas and potentially more snow in the higher elevations. Temps in the high 50’s and low 60’s.
